Primary Supervision

I offer supervision for State Interns. I am a bit strict with who I take on for supervision. That said, I will help you become confident in your abilities to diagnose and help your patients. If you are not a fan of diagnosis, or utilizing the medical model, I am absolutely not the supervisor for you. I personally hate it when someone has gone to therapy for years, only to find out later they have a diagnosis that would have been extremely helpful in their functioning and understanding of themselves.
Treatment modalities that I can help with are Parts and Memory Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, biofeedback, and neurofeedback. In addition to this I am familiar with structural family therapy, strategic family therapy, Satir’s communications approach, experiential family therapy, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and collaborative therapies.

Secondary Supervision

I am a bit less strict in accepting secondary supervisees. I have openings for secondary supervision, but would like to still have a phone interview first to see if we are a good fit

I offer supervision for those wishing to use the Parts and Memory Therapy model and hone their skills. This is free for individuals who would simply like to learn, however if the hours are to be used for supervision or certification requirements there will be a 40-dollar charge.
